CONDITIONS

When the Trade Winds blow they typically blow all day in this part of Fiji. September to November are the best months for wind. Like most tropical locations, the waves are greatly affected by tide, wind direction, swell height and wind strength.

"Matanivusi has got to be one of the world's best locations for downwinders. The water colour, waves, wind and service at Matanivusi is second-to-none and I can't wait to get back there." — Ben Wilson (www.bws.com)
